Thanks, I got it today. It is superior to anything I've seen. It?s like one of those new things you get that you can't stop staring at.

Yes, they are finished- and have turned out quite nicely.
I really like the modularity of the design. There is a ton of freedom when mounting large transformers and the sizes you have chosen to do make a lot of sense. For example in the smaller amp I have the trannies mounted on the bottom- horizontally, for the large one I have them mounted vertically against the front plate.
Once again I made two amps, one is 5 channels of UCD 180, the other is 5 channels of UCD400 plus Marchand XM44 embedded crossovers- which are mounted on stand-offs above the UCD400 modules (they fit perfectly).
The venting in the chassis allows for excellent air movement and also allows for a very cool blue/violet glow in the rack due to the status LEDs in the UCD modules.
The metal is tensile enough to be strong and soft enough to be easily worked and deburred.
My only constructive criticism would be to allow for 5 channels worth of pre punched speaker connectors instead of 4 channels, since I imagine you will be getting more and more 5 channel projects. (There are a number of ways of doing this with ezChassis, Simon)
Let me also say that I like your choice of binding posts and connectors- high quality and well turned out and also a nice price.

This is a project for my home use and because of that it can never be finished. :)
However, it works as my main amplifier for more than 3 months in a pretty steady configuration. It is really nice to work with ezChassis. Considering scrap that I have produced before, trying to make my own chassis, it justified its price.
There were some things that I did in order to improve a sound. Instead on original feet, amp now sits on 5 vibrapods...Improvement in a sound was obvious: it became more focused and tight.

Results are superb - best amp I've yet built, and I must say the logical design and flexibility of your chassis made everything go together so well.

The handles arrived - thanks for the really fast delivery. Even letters cannot get across town that fast!
Happy New Year!

I just received the heat sinks. They are beautiful.
You definitely have become my preferred supplier for big heat sinks.
Thanks for the perfect packaging, not a scratch or dent on them.

Yes, it arrived last Friday safe and sound. A rather ingenious piece of hardware! I'm waiting for my transformers to arrive so that I can finalize the layout of the components. At the moment I'm favouring putting the heatsink along one side. When it's finished I think this amp will look as good as it sounds.

I'm either planning on building a Nelson Pass type project or a circlotron with tubes. The reason for extra panels is because I'm not very good when it comes to working with metal. I really think these ezChassis are pretty cool. This will be fun project to work on this winter when I'm stuck inside. Thanks!
